Datuk Ewon Benedick

Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, Malaysia

Datuk Ewon Benedick is a Member of Parliament for Penampang since November 2022 and a Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kadamaian since May 2018. Prior to that, he served as the State Minister of Rural Development of Sabah in the Sabah Heritage Party (WARISAN) administration. He is presently the youngest member of Anwar Ibrahim’s Cabinet. He began his career as Research Executive at Institute for Indigenous Economic Progress Sabah while continuously developing and advancing strong ties with his grassroots communities. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Software Development) from the University Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UteM).
